Sheeja was born May 23rd 1974 in a small village called Valayam in the Calicut district. Her father, the late Sri Raman Nair, was a medical businessman. Her mother, Radha R Nair, is leading a widow's life in their house at Valayam. Sheeja's only brother Sainath is now working and settled down in Houston in the state of Texas in the USA . Her older sister Jaya leads a family life with her husband Mr. Murali (of the Indian Army) and their only son Unni at Valayam. Sheeja completed her bachelor's degree in English from Calicut University and came into my life in 1995. I was working in Uganda in East Africa when we married. After the marriage we both lived in Kampala, the capital city of Uganda .
Uganda is an elegant, friendly country in Africa, full of greenery. From the moment you land at Entebbe 's modern and efficient international airport, with its breathtaking equatorial location on the forested shore of island-strewn Lake Victoria, it is clear that Uganda is not an ordinary safari destination.
After five years of peaceful living we moved from the African continent to North America . In total I lived in Uganda more than 10 years and I believe that was the most wonderful time of my life. Uganda is the most beautiful place in that continent. Eighteen months after my marriage life we had a lovely gift from God. We call her Ammus,but her real name is Nanditha Raj. When Sheeja was young she used to write her name Nanditha Nair instead of Sheeja Nair and we both thought of giving that sweet name to our first child. Nanditha Raj was born in June 1st, 1996, in Badagara, India . At the age of five she had the fortune to travel to three different continents: India, Africa and North America. April 18th, 2000, we were blessed with our second daughter Nandana Raj who we call Vavus. She was also born in India. Now all of us are living in the biggest state in the USA, Texas. We bought a house in Missouri City near Houston, the fourth largest city in America. We have a small three-bedroom house with a beautiful lake in front and are living peacefully and happily.
