Kerala, the land of rivers and backwaters is a green strip of land, in the southwest corner of Indian peninsula. Kerala is a state with full literacy, Higher Health care and lower mortality ratio. In Kerala you experience freshness and touch of mother earth everywhere. No wonder keralites call their state “God ‘s Own Country”.
Calicut , is the anglicized form of Kalikut, the Arabic for the Malayalam Kozhikode. It is also called the cock fort. From time immemorial, the city attracted travelers, with its charming physical features and prosperity. Even today, the glory that was Calicut has not faded. The political history of Kozhikode is a story of treacherous and ill-conceived conspiracies hatched by the westers poswers. Vasco Da Gama landed at kozikode in May 1498, as the leader of a trade mission from Portugal and was received by the Zamorin king himself.
Mahe, 60 kilometers north of Calicut , is tiny pocket in the west coast of India , situated geographically in Kerala State Calicut district and politically in the Union Territory of Pondicherry, the erstwhile French colony in India . The French called Mahe “Jolie Petite Ville”. Mahe with its green cover, wherein the lingua franca is Malayalam is like a jewel on the estuary of a river.
I was born in a small village called Azhiyoor right next to Mahe on April 19, 1969. My father Late Sri Komath Kunhi Anandan Nambiar was a senior officer in Kerala Police department; mother Late Smt Karappayil Nanikutty Amma an Indian housewife to the core. God called my mother first in October 8th 1991 and nine years after my father in September 3rd 2000 too. My eldest brother Mr. Venugopal (Ex Ashok Leyland employee) has settled down in Chennai, South India . Second brother Mr. Valsarajan (Ex employee of Sudarsan Chits India Ltd) has settled down in Uganda , East Africa . Third brother Mr. Premarajan a former TATA employee is leading a retired life in Azhiyoor. My two elder sisters Smt Nirmala Padmanabhan and Smt Vasanthi Damodaran are settled in Mahe and Badagara respectively. I am the youngest (there is a 10 year apart between me and my next elder sibling Vasanthi Damodaran).
I got married to Sheeja (daughter of Late Sri Raman Nair and Smt Radha R Nair, Valayam) in January 8 th 1995 and in June 1 st 1996 we were blessed with our first child Nanditha
and in April 18 th 2000 with Nandana.
On 1st June 2006 again we were blessed with a Boy Navend Raj.
I am Currently working and settle down in Missouri City in Texas state USA .
I traveled almost all the beautiful countries that include, Singapore , Korea , Japan , Hong Kong, all the Middle East, Mexico , Uganda , Kenya , Tanzania , Rwanda , Congo , Sudan , Egypt , Ethiopia , Yemen , South Africa , Canada and United Kingdom .
